Our Special Character

The motto of Nunawading Christian College is "Nothing Without God", reflecting our hope that our students will make a special place for God in their lives' and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is important for us to provide our students with a solid foundation on which they can build their lives'. Christian values are woven into the curriculum as a matter of priority in order to encourage a respect for self, for others and for the environment.

We believe that education is understanding: understanding who you are, understanding how to communicate and relate to others, and understanding the world beyond the classroom. The education we offer is based firmly on the belief in the importance of family and is built on Christian principles which acknowledge the pivotal role that the family plays in today's society.  As a smaller school, Nunawading Christian College is able to provide a co-educational environment that is nurturing and caring and one in which individuals matter and have a sense of their importance in the overall life of the College.  We strive to foster a strong sense of community among our staff, students and parents and are proud of the level of parental involvement in and commitment to, our school's program each year.
